Let’s take a walk down memory lane. A man walks into Louie Bossi’s Ristorante in downtown Fort Lauderdale and sees a beautiful woman across the restaurant. He was captivated by her warm smile and infectious laugh. This man, Dan, got up and introduced himself to this woman, Vanessa. Fast forward 4 years, Dan took Vanessa as his wife at St. Gregory Catholic Church and they celebrated their love with a night of dancing at the Riverside Hotel.
To make a love at first sight story even better, Dan and Vanessa walked down Las Olas Blvd hand in hand to find the exact table at Louie Bosi’s where they first met. Stephanie from Sonju Photography recreated this moment so beautifully and effortlessly captured Dan and Vanessa’s kindhearted spirits.
Working with Vanessa and Dan felt like reconnecting with old friends. They are such gracious and captivating people, and together they are going to make a dynamite team. The whole day flowed effortlessly. As you can see, vibes were strong from the start with the shades on. (They pretty much stayed on all day #swagger) Vanessa and her ladies had their hair and makeup done by the talented Marz .
The ceremony was an emotional one with both bride and groom expressing their love for each other through tears and bouts of belly laughter. It is always a special feeling to be part of such a feel-good day.
Now that their love story is bound in marriage, the festivities can begin! The Riverside is a beautiful venue nestled right on the New River in downtown Ft Lauderdale. With views of the river at cocktail hour on the terrace to their intimate ballroom reception (aka dance party), this venue went above and beyond with service and making sure everything was just right for our couple.
I am always amazed at what our vendors pull off with what they are given. We had a very tight time frame to flip the ballroom from a previous event so the pressure was one. Voila! We know our jobs are done well when the bride and groom walk in for their reveal and are having trouble picking their jaws up from the floor. The room was stunning and Vanessa and Dan saw their wedding dream become reality. Stunning florals by our beloved Dalsimer Atlas, gold beaded chargers by Different Look, delicate linen by Over the Top, lighting by Winshow Events, and an all hype DJ from LJDJ’s made this wedding a night to remember.
The wedding party hit the Las Olas streets to take some awesome shots around Downtown.
Cheers to the two of you! Today, tomorrow, and forever may you be as full of love and life as you were on your wedding day.
